Chapter 221 Graduation Party
Chapter 221 Graduation Party
Parents flocked to the closing ceremony, creating a lively atmosphere. After the exciting event concluded successfully, the parents joyfully held their children's hands and journeyed home. But unlike them, the children at our Love Kindergarten will have one last unforgettable night of summer camp. Tomorrow morning, as the sun rises, Lotta will arrive on Snow Planet and, together with Lei, lead these adorable children on a journey of adventure on that mysterious planet.
At this moment, we were engaged in a lively discussion about the exquisite and breathtaking Hanfu before us. The clamorous noises around us gradually faded, until they finally faded away. It was as if the entire world had quietly drifted away, leaving only us and this fascinating conversation about Hanfu.
However, just as we were immersed in the moment, a staff member hurried over, interrupting this beautiful and peaceful moment. With a smile but a hint of apology, he announced, "Everyone, please get ready! The closing ceremony is about to enter its final, crucial stage!" Hearing these words, I couldn't help but feel an indescribable sense of loss. It felt like a dreamlike, wonderful journey had been abruptly and ruthlessly cut short, catching us off guard. The woman beside me, clearly perceptive, had keenly sensed the subtle shifts in my emotions. She gently raised her delicate hand and patted the back of mine, offering me a silent comfort and care.
The graduation ceremony drew to a close in a flash, the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Smiling parents hurriedly headed towards their children. I stood quietly by, my gaze drawn like a magnet, searching the crowd for the haunting figure.
Finally, I caught sight of that familiar figure—she was walking toward me, holding the hand of a delicate, adorable child. It wasn't until then that I realized she was the parent of a child at Snow Star Nursery School!
When she approached me, a smile as bright as a spring flower bloomed on her face, and she enthusiastically invited me: "Would you like to bring the children from your Love Kindergarten to participate in the fun activities held on Snow Star the day after tomorrow?" I was ecstatic when I heard this sudden proposal, and nodded and agreed without hesitation.
At that moment, a wonderful feeling washed over me. I suddenly realized that this bond forged through Hanfu might just be the beginning, and that there might be many more wonderful chapters waiting for us to write together in the future. Thinking of this, my heart was filled with endless anticipation and longing, as if I could already see the journey of the day after tomorrow, filled with laughter, joy, and wonderful experiences.
However, plans can't keep up with the times. Tomorrow, when Lotta arrives, she'll take the children to their reserved hotel for a day of rest and recovery. Afterward, they'll explore the surrounding area. Meanwhile, I'll have to rush off to deal with some supplier matters. Only once these are properly resolved will I have the time to fully enjoy this joyful trip the day after tomorrow.
The graduation ceremony finally concluded successfully. Lei smiled and led the children home. They chatted and laughed as they headed towards the dormitories, ready to rest and pack their belongings. Tomorrow morning, these adorable little ones would bid farewell to this summer camp filled with joy and memories! I, on the other hand, headed to the hotel to take on the responsibility of arranging accommodations for the children. Of course, I also had to check on how our hot pot business was doing.
When I stepped into the hotel restaurant, my mood instantly brightened. The place was bustling with people, enjoying the delicious food. The staff were busy and methodical, each doing their job, either warmly welcoming customers or quickly serving dishes and taking bills. Seeing this scene, my heart finally relaxed a little. After all, this hot pot restaurant is a vital part of our business!
Next, I plunged into preparations for tomorrow's work without stopping. First, I called each supplier, carefully verifying key information like the exact quantity and delivery time of the goods they needed. After a flurry of communication and coordination, everything was handled smoothly. Before I knew it, night had quietly fallen.
Dragging my slightly exhausted body, I slowly returned to my room. As soon as I lay down, my mind involuntarily began to imagine the day after tomorrow's outing with the children: those innocent smiles, those clear, sweet laughter... The thought of this filled me with an indescribable excitement, tinged with a touch of nervousness. I tossed and turned in bed, unable to fall asleep. It was only in the stillness of the night that I finally drifted off to sleep, filled with longing for a bright future.
The next morning, golden sunlight, like fine threads of yarn, filtered through the narrow slits in the curtains, gently scattering across the soft bed. Awakened by this warm, soft light, I climbed out of bed early. Stretching out my somewhat lazy body, I quickly opened my laptop and started a video call with the children still at summer camp.
When the children's adorable faces appeared on the other side of the screen, my heart was filled with endless love. I patiently urged them to be good and listen carefully to the instructions of Teachers Lei and Luota. Seeing them nod in agreement, I felt both comforted and reassured.
After finishing my conversation with the children, I immediately messaged Lei and Lotta to let them know their reserved rooms were available and sent them detailed information. Then, I immediately worked with the hotel to complete the check-in process for the children. Confirming everything was in place, I breathed a sigh of relief, but time was tight and I didn't have time to linger.
So, I hurriedly set off for the supplier's location. The entire journey was filled with anxiety, and I kept mentally encouraging myself: "This time, I must successfully resolve all the issues!" As the car moved forward, the scenery outside the window shifted like a moving scroll, but my mind was completely elsewhere.
After several hours of intense discussions and negotiations, the two sides finally reached a consensus and successfully finalized the details of the cooperation. At that moment, I felt like a huge burden had been lifted from me, and I felt much more relaxed.
In the afternoon, when I returned to the hotel, I saw from a distance that Lotta was leading a group of lively and lovely children playing in the street park. I quickened my pace to walk towards them. When the children saw me, they immediately cheered and surrounded me, vying to tell me about the interesting experiences that happened in the morning.
I listened to the children's chatter with a smile, occasionally joining in their hearty laughter. However, my eyes involuntarily wandered off into the distance, my heart filled with anticipation for the moment I'd see her tomorrow, and also with longing for the joyful outing that was about to begin.
