Chapter 234 Letter from Ferro
Chapter 234 Letter from Ferro
I inadvertently turned my head and my gaze fell upon Ferro beside me, a wave of deep emotion welling up in my heart. There was a time when I had believed that once we parted, it would be difficult to see each other again, but fate always has such strange and unexpected twists. Although we had not been apart for too long, now he had reappeared in my life, like a shining star streaking across the night sky.
After dinner, night fell quietly, the sky gradually tinging itself with a deep, inky hue. Ferro enthusiastically helped settle the children, still engrossed in the joyful atmosphere, and once everything was settled, we slowly strolled into the courtyard. Moonlight, as bright as water, gently streamed down, illuminating the path beneath our feet. Ferro gazed at me quietly, whispering, "Truth be told, ever since we parted, I've been thinking about you, all of you, and the wonderful times we shared together. Especially when I think of those days filming the video with Lillian, my heart warms." Hearing this, the corners of my mouth involuntarily curled up, revealing a knowing smile. I softly replied, "Then, I sincerely welcome you back to our side." Just then, a gentle breeze caressed my cheek, bringing a touch of coolness that made the moment even more tranquil and beautiful, a captivating and intoxicating feeling.
Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, it's time to leave Snow Planet. Ferro had already made up his mind to return to Ceres with us, but last night, a sudden and urgent military order disrupted his original plan. The call from the military was like a sudden storm, forcing Ferro to change his mind and hurriedly embark on his return journey.
Despite our sudden separation, the bond between Ferro and me remained undimmed. We solemnly pledged to meet again someday. Then, he would teach the lovely Lele even more about the secrets of mecha. This promise, like a shining star, illuminated our paths forward.
With a melodious roar, the spaceship, like a nimble eagle, spread its wings and soared through the boundless universe. The receding planet Snow gradually became a tiny speck of light, finally disappearing into the abyss of the sky. At this moment, the children's tender faces were filled with a deep sense of reluctance to leave. They held each other's hands tightly, as if to preserve these fleeting beautiful moments.
With every step they took, they couldn't help but turn back, gazing lovingly at the land that had once given them endless joy and precious memories. There were the vast fields where they had run freely, the mysterious caves they had explored together, and the cozy corners where they had laughed and cried together...all of this was deeply imprinted in their young hearts.
However, all good things must come to an end. Despite our deepest attachments, parting was inevitable. Finally, filled with longing, we slowly boarded the spacecraft. As the engines roared to life, this craft, carrying our hopes and dreams, sped off like an arrow, heading for our distant home.
Although this unforgettable journey to Snow Star has come to a successful conclusion, the joy and emotion it brought will shine forever in everyone's heart, like the brightest stars in the night sky. This precious experience will become an indelible memory in our lives, inspiring us to forge ahead and pursue a broader world and a more brilliant future.
After a long and exciting flight, our spacecraft finally landed slowly on the tarmac of the Ceres Interstellar Station. When the hatch opened, a gust of fresh air hit us, making us feel refreshed.
Stepping out of the spacecraft, the scenery before us was a world apart from the Snow Planet we had visited previously. Snow Planet had already entered autumn, with a mixture of golden and fiery red everywhere; however, Ceres was still full of lush greenery, as if time had stood still here, forever stuck in the vibrant spring.
After leaving the interstellar station, we boarded a spacious and comfortable hovercar, which smoothly moved along the wide road, taking us to Ceres Love Nursery School. Along the way, the scenery outside the window was picturesque, with lush green trees and colorful flowers, which was intoxicating.
Soon, the hovercraft arrived at its destination—the Ceres Love Nursery School. Before the car even stopped, the children eagerly flung open the doors and ran toward the entrance, cheering and leaping for joy. The kindergarten's sign was brand new and bright, meticulously painted with lovely images and heartwarming words, creating a sense of familiarity. The children then looked at the more formal outdoor playground nearby, its comprehensive facilities and spacious grounds. The sight of it filled them with excitement, and they rushed in like arrows from a bow.
As soon as they stepped through the kindergarten gates, the children, like cheerful little birds, chirped and scattered, quickly rushing to their familiar corners. Some headed straight for the slide, gliding down with a swift swoop, their laughter echoing in the air; others rushed to the swings, swinging high and high, feeling the gentle caress of the wind; still others gathered together to play in the sandpit, building their own castles...
I stood quietly, gazing at the lively and adorable figures of these children, a wave of joy welled up in my heart. Their innocent smiles warmed my heart like the warm spring sun, making me forget all my fatigue and worries. It's truly an incomparable blessing to be able to accompany these little angels as they grow and witness every happy moment of their lives!
At that moment, my eyes inadvertently fell on the letter on the table. The envelope looked ordinary, but when I looked closely, the sender's name made my heart jump suddenly - it was Ferro! Filled with curiosity and a hint of indescribable excitement, I couldn't wait to tear open the envelope.
Unfolding the letter, I was greeted by lines of neat, powerful handwriting. The contents of the letter filled me with both comfort and wonder. It turned out that Ferro was enjoying a comfortable life in the military and, moreover, had been deeply immersed in research on a new mecha technology. He suggested that if this advanced technology were cleverly applied to children's education, it could potentially create a unique and unprecedented interactive teaching tool. The idea was truly inspiring, as if it had opened the door to a whole new world for children's education.
He wrote enthusiastically in his letter, "I hope to bring this innovative achievement with me next time we meet. By then, the lovely children in the kindergarten will be able to personally experience the fascinating blend of technology and fun."
After reading this letter filled with so much affection and anticipation, my heart was filled with joy, just like the vibrant blossoms of spring. Without hesitation, I shared this good news with the innocent children, who were overjoyed. Cheers and laughter instantly filled the entire nursery.
In the days that followed, we diligently resumed the warm and orderly pace of kindergarten life. Meanwhile, we eagerly awaited Ferro's return, quietly awaiting that beautiful moment. As night fell, I often unconsciously looked up at the vast, starry sky. Ensconced by the dazzling stars, my thoughts wandered freely, and Ferro's diligent and toiling military service constantly surfaced in my mind. I firmly believed that one day soon, our reunion would bring endless surprises and touching moments.
