Chapter 226 New House

Seeing Lin Yue angry, Li Yuetian panicked and quickly put down the board, forcing a smile as he said, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's my fault. Let's continue the lesson. I promise I'll never mention this again."

Lin Yue angrily sat back down, muttering, "She always asks weird questions." Li Yuetian didn't dare to provoke her anymore and began to explain the problem seriously.

Lin Yue's face darkened again. "Are you hiding something from me?"

Lin Yue looked at him suspiciously, clearly not quite believing him. "Really, I'm not lying to you." Li Yuetian was a little anxious, and beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.

Li Yuejiao, however, was somewhat excited: "I've thought of a way. You find the right moment and pretend to punish her with that board..."

Li Yuetian's eyes widened after hearing this. "Will this work? What if she gets really angry?" Li Yuejiao said nonchalantly, "Just be gentle and pretend. Maybe she'll fall for it and think you're manly." Li Yuetian was still hesitant, but he couldn't resist the urge to try.

The two chatted for a while longer, but just then, Li Yuetian received a message from Lin Yue.

When Li Yuetian saw the message, his heart sank. Could it be that he had angered Lin Yue by asking about the board, and that's why she didn't want to have tutoring anymore?

It turns out that Lin Mu and Yun Xiling pooled their money to buy a small villa in Y City, which they planned to use as their future wedding home. The renovation and airing out process had recently been completed.

Now that they're no longer Kamen Riders, the Kamen Rider Association has fewer missions, and the two are happy to have some peace and quiet. They plan to spend the New Year in their new house and called Lin Yue to come over with them.

Lin Yue wanted to visit her brother's house, so she readily agreed. She declined their offer to pick her up, bought a train ticket, and left that afternoon, which is why no one was there when Li Yuetian arrived the next day.

Li Yuetian waited at the door for a long time, feeling disappointed. Just as he was about to leave, his neighbor came out to take out the trash and glanced at him curiously.

Li Yuetian hurriedly stepped forward and asked, "Auntie, has anyone left this house?" The neighbor nodded and said, "That little girl left yesterday afternoon with her suitcase. “Your brother’s house was renovated last year, but the association was too busy and we forgot about it. You were taking the high school entrance exam around that time last year, so your brother didn’t tell you. Now that things are settled there, we’re planning to move here.”

Soon, the car stopped in front of a beautiful villa. Lin Yue got out of the car, looked at the exquisite villa in front of her, and couldn't help but exclaim, "Brother, this house is so beautiful!"

Lin Mu smiled and said softly, "As long as you like it, that's fine. There are many rooms here, you can choose any one you like. This will be your home from now on."

Seeing his sister's surprised expression, Lin Mu smiled and said, "Yueyue, you are my sister, this house will be your security in the future. Besides, Mom passed away early, so as your older brother, I have to think more about you."

Hearing her brother's words, Lin Yue's eyes welled up with tears. She knew her brother had always taken good care of her, but sometimes she would overlook these details.

However, both of them tacitly avoided mentioning their father who had abandoned them after starting a relationship. Seeing the slight silence, Yun Xiling smiled and took their arms, breaking the somewhat heavy atmosphere: "Alright, alright, Xiaoyue, let's go inside and take a look!"

As soon as she stepped into the room, Lin Yue's gaze was drawn to Yun Yi, who was engrossed in doing his winter vacation homework in the living room, as if drawn by a magnet.

Yun Xiling sighed helplessly and explained, "Well, my parents are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this year, so they took the opportunity to go out and have fun, leaving my brother alone at home. It must have been quite boring for him to be home alone, so I decided to bring him to live with us.
