The two chatted for a while longer, then Archer Quinn looked at the watch on his wrist and said, "Bella, let’s go back for the audition. Director Simons and the others should be about done drinking."

"Alright." Bella Acker stood up and said, "We’ve been out for so long, do you think Director Simons will find me impolite?"

"Only thinking about this now?" Archer Quinn opened the private room door and turned back to look at her with a smile.

Bella blushed with embarrassment. Earlier, under the influence of alcohol, she was only focused on her sadness and had long forgotten about work.

Archer Quinn said, "Don’t worry. If Cynthia Young couldn’t handle this, she wouldn’t be one of the top agents in the industry. Besides, I have a good relationship with Director Simons. If there’s any issue, I’ll talk to him."

Bella scratched her cheek, "Senior Quinn, since I’ve known you, it seems like I’m always troubling you."

"Am I? I don’t think so." Archer Quinn chuckled and said, "Go wash your face and sober up a bit. Director Simons casts actors based on talent, not connections, even more impartial than Director Ford."

Bella nodded. As she walked into the public area of the restroom, she stopped and turned back to ask, "Senior Quinn, the opportunity for this audition from Director Simons, aside from Ms. Young’s connections, is it also because of you?"

She wasn’t foolish. Ms. Young brought her here for the audition, and Senior Quinn, originally filming at the base, suddenly showed up at the dinner. It couldn’t be a coincidence.

Bella was taken aback, "Senior Quinn, you’re the male lead?"

"Yes." Archer Quinn nodded, "The contract has already been signed."

"Then I better try my best later. Acting alongside you, I could learn a lot." Hearing his explanation, Bella didn’t think further and turned to wash her face.

Archer Quinn finally breathed a sigh of relief. He wanted to be good to her and pave her way in showbiz but feared crossing a line and making her sense something unusual.

The film Director Simons is preparing, "Life and Death," did indeed offer him the script, inviting him to play the male lead. However, his schedule for this year was already arranged last year, leaving no time to shoot this film.

He had originally planned to decline the script, but now... Bella said she could learn a lot from acting with him and seemed eager to work together, so he’ll accept the film.
