The End Times as a Song

Chapter 1 The Little Bully

Chapter 1 The Little Bully

Chifeng is a deep abyss, with towering mountains.

The bright moonlight, filtering through the desolate mountains and forests in the dead of night, sparsely illuminated the earth.

The silvery-white light, like playful children, darted freely through the forest, and like fireflies dancing gracefully, nourishing all things in the forest.

A cold wind blew by, and the leaves rustled, as if whispering secrets.

The cold wind brought a chilling cold that instilled fear in people.

A graceful young woman was struggling to climb the cliff face.

The moonlight fell on the girl's face, like water lilies blooming in a clear pond, fresh and refined.

The girl's face was as gentle as jade, her eyes were clear and bright, and between her brows, there was a subtle hint of something extraordinary about her.

Her hair was as black as ink, flowing down to her waist, and was simply tied in a bun with a plain white magnolia hairpin.

The girl wore a simple yellow gauze white dress, her figure was light and graceful, her skin was like cream, and her face was delicate and lovely.

The girl nimbly tossed her hair behind her as she climbed the rock face, struggling to ascend.

She turned her head and focused her gaze on the crack in the rocks not far away. She stared at it for a long time, and after taking a look, a hint of joy appeared on her tired face.

"Very good……!"

"I've finally found you...!"

The girl used both hands and feet to swiftly move between the cliffs. After several attempts, she arrived beside the plant. The plant emitted a faint, ethereal blue light, captivating all who gazed upon it.

The girl stood on the cliff edge. She quickly took out a light blue handkerchief and placed it next to the blue light plant. She put her hands on the roots of the blue light plant, squeezed it hard, and picked the blue light plant, putting it into the handkerchief and wrapping it up.

A vine silently approached her, and like a venomous snake, it suddenly lunged forward and stabbed at the girl.

The girl was startled and instinctively stepped back, but her foot slipped and she lost her balance.

She struggled desperately in mid-air, trying to grab the vines to balance herself, but she couldn't hold on and fell straight into the abyss behind her.

The vines climbed relentlessly along the cliff face, quickly catching up with the girl and leaping out towards her. In an instant, they wrapped around her slender waist, pulling her back from the abyss.

Startled, the girl opened her eyes and looked around. The vines pulled and swung her towards the cliff.

"jump……!"

"Cough cough cough...!"

The girl stumbled and landed, raising dust around her.

The girl saw stars, shook her head, looked disheveled, coughed, and spat out some ash.

The girl dusted herself off and looked up to see a thick vine moving eerily, constantly splitting into several thinner tendrils, a scene that filled everyone with extreme panic.

The vines eyed the girl with hostility, slowly approaching and wantonly restricting her movements.

The vines that had split off slowly approached the girl.

Seeing that the situation was not good, the girl quickly drew her dagger to defend herself.

The vine stared with interest at the plant in the girl's hand.

"This is mine... Don't come any closer...!"

As their eyes met, the girl realized the vine's purpose and hid the blue-glowing plant to assert her ownership of it.

The vine paused, shook its body, mocking the girl's naivety, and swaggered out a branch, making a demanding gesture, indicating that the girl should hand over the plant, its attitude forceful.

The girl remained steadfast, her eyes resolute.

Seeing that the girl was so tactless, the vine gave a wink to the vine beside it.

The rattan nodded knowingly and approached the girl step by step.

"No... I won't give it to you... I just won't give it to you...!"

Seeing this, the girl shook her head nervously and refused the vine's forceful and unreasonable demands.

Unexpectedly, the girl's unintentional act aroused the vines' demonic nature of bullying the weak.

The vine glanced at the girl disdainfully, then turned its head and gave an order to the vines beside it.

Upon receiving the order, the rattan immediately surrounded the girl.

Seeing that the situation was not good, the girl decided not to waste any more time with the group of monsters and got up to run away.

Unfortunately, the vines gave the girl no chance to escape.

As soon as the girl took a step, the vine immediately wrapped around her foot, pulled hard, and playfully tripped her to the ground.

The girl was instantly humiliated and made a complete fool of herself.

The vines swayed wildly, as if to say, "Where do you think you're going to run off to? If I don't teach you a lesson today, you won't know whose territory this is...?"

Immediately afterwards, several rather domineering vines swarmed up and whipped the girl's tender, fair skin.

The girl endured the excruciating pain, curled up, and protected the plant in front of her chest with her hands.

"Damn it, if I had known we would encounter these monsters, I should have brought that kid along...!"

In less than the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, the girl was already covered in wounds and bloodstains.

The girl's eyes were vacant, filled with regret, as she huddled among the rocks and sand.

After a brutal ordeal, the vines had no intention of letting the girl go easily.

Instead, he gestured for the vines beside him to tie the girl's hands together, making her stand on the ground in a cross shape as punishment.

The vine stood before the girl, defiantly licking its tip. A flash of cold light passed from the tip, sending chills down her spine.

As if interrogating a criminal, he commanded the rattan cane, manipulating the girl at will.

The girl, not to be outdone, struggled and shouted.

"I am just a human who doesn't know magic... Why are you making such a fuss? Aren't you afraid the demons will laugh at you for bullying a weak woman...!"

The girl was barely breathing; her once beautiful face was now completely bloodless.

The girl parted her lips slightly, smiled mockingly, and blurted out the words, unwilling to give up.

"Hehehe...!"

"If we're lucky, someone might come to our rescue...!"

Clinging to her last shred of hope, the girl uttered the most inappropriate words. She was trying to find a way to survive.

The vines arched their thorny trunks, trembling violently. It seemed to mock the girl's naiveté, its unspoken message conveying the same meaning.

"This silly girl, she's about to die, and she's still spouting so much nonsense. She's really courting death...?"

As the lowest-ranking demon race, the vines simply wanted to fulfill the task assigned to them by their master: to snatch the blue-glowing plant from the girl's hands.

The vines slithered eerily along the girl's graceful figure. They climbed up to her chin, pressing the tip against her throat. A flash of cold light streaked across the tip of the vine, particularly dazzling.

The girl was instantly terrified, her face paled, her breathing became rapid, and she almost lost her voice.

She feigned composure, forcibly suppressing her trembling emotions, and said in a shaky voice.

What do you want...?

The vine tip lightly grazed the girl's fair skin, and bright red blood instantly flowed from her neck.

However, this slit in the throat did not cause fatal damage to the girl; rather, it seemed to be a threat to her.

After the entire ritual was completed, the vines twisted their heavy bodies strangely.

Then, it drew a circle around the girl's heart, revealing an even sharper vine tip, intending to deliver a fatal blow.

"stop……!"

A flash of blue light streaked past, and a figure in a blue gauze and white robes fluttered in the wind, dazzlingly bright. A young man dressed in blue gauze and white robes charged into the encirclement.

A young man in a green veil and white robes strode in with elegant martial arts steps. He braced himself with one hand on the ground, performed a side somersault, and kicked away the vine leader who was interrogating the criminals.

The boy moved nimbly and looked dashing. He knelt on one knee and bravely spread his arms to protect the girl.
