The End Times as a Song

Chapter 534 Promise Him

Chapter 534 Promise Him

She frowned, racking her brains for a solution...!

Lin Moshi stood still, quietly watching Huan Ruge. Time passed by, but Huan Ruge remained silent.

He couldn't help but feel a little worried: "Could it be that Miss Huan is unwell?"

He asked Huan Rugo softly, "Miss Huan, are you alright? Is there anything that feels uncomfortable?"

Upon hearing Lin Moshi's voice, Huan Ruge snapped back to reality, a slight blush rising to her cheeks.

She quickly waved her hand and said, "I, I'm fine! I'm fine...! I just didn't know how to answer for a moment."

As soon as she finished speaking, she was filled with remorse and wished she could slap herself a few times. She felt utterly ashamed.

After hearing this, Lin Moshi realized that his actions just now were somewhat inappropriate and might have caused Huan Ruge some trouble and inconvenience.

He quickly clasped his hands in a gesture of respect and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, I was being presumptuous. I hope Miss Huan will forgive me if I have offended you."

Seeing this, Huan Rugo quickly smiled and replied, "It's not offensive at all! Lord of the Apocalypse, there's no need for that."

Actually, she had a good impression of Lin Moshi.

Lin Moshi was not only handsome and dashing, but also elegant and polite, which was truly captivating.

Unfortunately, he always seemed too reserved and not open enough in his speech, which meant that the two of them could only stay outside of formalities.

Meanwhile, Lin Moshi also harbored feelings of love for Huan Ruge. From their first meeting, he was captivated by her.

Furthermore, during their time together, he discovered that Huan Ruge was kind-hearted, gentle, and considerate, which made him fall deeply in love with her.

However, due to his cautious nature and respect for the wishes of others, he never considered forcing Huan Ruge to do anything.

Thus, although the two had feelings for each other, their relationship seemed to be separated by a thin veil, and they were never able to truly ignite their passion.

Perhaps it is precisely because they care too much about each other's feelings that they create a distance and restraint between them.

"Doomsday God! I just didn't know what to say for a moment, please don't mind!" Huan Rugo saw Lin Moshi's disappointment and immediately stepped forward to comfort him. She couldn't understand her own feelings either; perhaps she liked Lin Moshi, or perhaps she didn't.

Before Lin Moshi could reply, Huan Ruge continued, "It seems to be getting late. Didn't we agree to have dinner together? Why don't we go back to our rooms and prepare?" Huan Ruge gave Lin Moshi a way out, not giving him any chance to speak, and was just trying to get rid of him.

Lin Moshi glanced out the window; it was already dusk. He turned back to Huan Rugo and smiled, "Miss Huan is right. I'll come to pick you up later!"

Lin Moshi stood up politely and bowed slightly to Huan Rugo in a standard manner.

"Hmm...! See you later!" Huan Rugo nodded readily, her voice clear and melodious like a silver bell.

Just as Lin Moshi was about to turn and leave, he suddenly stopped, as if he had remembered something important.

He slowly turned around, his gaze fixed on Huan Rugo, and said softly, "Miss Huan, there is something I want to tell you!"

Huan Rugo was taken aback by what she heard. She blinked her beautiful eyes and asked curiously, "No rush, we'll talk about it later. You can go back first!"

“Miss Huan, could you please stop calling me ‘God-Lord’? It sounds rather distant.” Lin Moshi continued, ignoring Huan Ruge’s objections.
