Magical Journey: The Other Shore Blooms on the Other Shore

Chapter 114 The Fool's Puzzle, Part 4

Chapter 114 The Fool's Puzzle, Part 4

Good morning, good afternoon, good night.

It doesn't matter when you see this letter. To be honest, I don't even know if you'll actually see it, but please listen to me: help me.

Because of my greed and stupidity, I have countless reasons to make mistakes.

I am now trapped in a hidden kingdom in the southwestern forest, willingly and willingly enslaved by some unknown entity here.

Because of that irresistible magic, even the thought of escaping is shattered, I can only write down this information while I am still lucid.

This is a kingdom of objects; once you step into this kingdom, you will become a slave to them.

I am no longer myself...

So please save me, I've already fallen for it.

Please help me, this person who keeps making mistakes.

……

"Lady Qin..." Standing in front of Qin was a girl who looked similar to Elena, or rather, they were cut from the same mold, the only difference being her hair color.

This wasn't the first time Qin had dealt with Miss Broom. But this was truly the first time she had ever seen an object that elicited such a panicked expression.

After escaping from that kingdom, the broom rushed to a nearby kingdom and handed the hastily written letter to Qin, now anxiously awaiting her response.

Because Elena's letter was written in a very flamboyant and elegant style, Qin read it over and over again in order to understand it. After reading it several times, he finally put the letter aside and said, "It's too vague. Can you add anything?"

“I’m sorry, Lady Qin, what I saw and heard was the same as what Lady Elena said. “After Lady Elena entered that kingdom, I didn’t actually notice anything unusual either.”

"Perhaps the only strange thing at the time was that it wasn't a person who opened the city gates for Lady Elena, but a book that flew in the sky," Miss Broom continued. "But even though it's strange, I can talk to you now, so this kind of strange thing can't be considered amazing in the world."

“I know you want to explain away her mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, but I don’t care about that at all,” Qin interrupted the broom. “Time is limited. If you can, say what you think is the key point.”

“Until Elena stepped into a hall, she was struck by a strange light and fell unconscious, and then… when she woke up, she seemed to have become a different person,” Miss Broom said. “She would grin at objects and then willingly repair the broken items in the area.”

"But at night, she would have a period of lucidity, and after writing this letter, she decided to fly away in me. Unfortunately, just before leaving the city gate, she was blocked by a large number of objects, and only I flew out," the broom said.

"Before that, Lady Elena had already prepared for the failure of her escape, so she cast a spell on me in advance, turning me from an object into a person, and conveyed the message that I should ask you for help."

That concludes all of Miss Broom's supplementary information.

Complementing the information contained in Elena's hastily written letter, Jean basically understood the whole story.

"How long will the magic she cast on you last?" Jean asked.

“About two days, but now there should only be a little over a day left,” the broom said. “Lady Qin, you must save Lady Elena…”

"Lead the way," Qin said, standing up.

"Thanks……"

"There's no need for thanks in the first place," Qin said.

"This is not an unnecessary problem."

Only in fairy tales can we always find the kind of story where a drop of kindness is repaid with a spring of gratitude.

In reality, there are too many stories like the farmer and the snake—this world has never stipulated that you must lend a helping hand to those who have helped you in the past.

When you encounter difficulties that you can't solve, those you once helped may not help you again.

The only people who will help you are those who have helped you in the past.

Led by Miss Broom, Jean quickly made his way through the damp woods to the main gate of the kingdom described in the letter. But he didn't rush in.

Rushing recklessly into someone else's trap is a self-destructive act.

If Jean doesn't rely on demonic magic, he can only ensure his own safety; bringing out the controlled Elena would be extremely difficult.

If possible, he doesn't want to use magic—because it's uncontrollable, and he only uses a little bit carefully when necessary and to make sure nothing goes wrong.

In situations like this, the amount of magic required is not entirely up to the individual.

The enemy is an endless army of items. A single item is nothing, but when thousands upon thousands come crashing down, even swinging a sword would exhaust you. And more importantly, what the broom and Elena see may not be the whole picture of this kingdom.

The unknown is the greatest enemy.

Although he didn't know why, he had a feeling that things weren't as simple as the broom described. Maybe he was overcomplicating things.

But this is not a bad thing.

Perhaps the only good news right now is that the magic that enslaves Elena is useless against Jean.

If it weren't for this, no matter how skilled Qin was, she would have just come over to add to the dishes or as an extra treat.

“Listen to me, you are an object, and theoretically you can command the controlled Elena to do what you want,” Jean said. “So, I have a plan.”

"Yes, Lady Qin, I'm listening." Miss Broom nodded vigorously, as if she were pounding garlic.

After Qin finished explaining her ideas to the broom, she said, "If the plan works, that would be great—if not."

"I'll handle the rest," Qin said calmly, offering her final explanation. Her tone, though flat, carried more weight than any solemn declaration.

"I will try my best too." Miss Broom nodded in acknowledgment.

After Qin finished giving these instructions, Qin's figure disappeared instantly.

After Qin completely disappeared, Miss Broom knocked on the gates of this kingdom of objects, beginning her preordained plan to rescue Elaina from the clutches of objects.
