Shi Jie and Ma Mingli’s minds went blank hearing her words. Shi Jie felt the grip of her daughter around her waist tightening.

"Aunt Xin Yan and Brother Tian just told me. Why didn’t you tell me?" Ma Li raised her head and looked at her confused mother with a pout on her face.

"What...?" Ma Mingli muttered in confusion and disbelief, "What do you mean...?"

Seeing the clueless expression on their faces, Noah understood that neither of them had any idea about it.

"Use your qi sense on her." Noah simply instructed Ma Mingli to check his wife’s body.

Shi Jie and Ma Mingli frowned upon hearing his explanation. Although they believed Noah and Xin Yan, their caution was for the sake of their daughter.

"Wouldn’t going to such a place be more dangerous for her than here? Even though she will be growing slowly, she will be fine." Shi Jie grasped her daughter’s hand tightly, fearing she would leave her.

Ma Li wanted to deny her mother’s words, but seeing her scared expression, she could not say anything.

After she found out that she was going to be a mother, she became overprotective of her daughter.
