Chapter 1720: 51: Yangshui, Yin Mountain (Part 3)

Chapter 1720: Chapter 51: Yangshui, Yin Mountain (Part 3)“The good news, of course, is that I know which mountain this ghost mountain is!” Ge Fei remarked matter-of-factly.

“I didn’t need to ask you!”

Anyone who enters the Mountain and Sea Realm has read “Mountain and Sea Strange Beasts,” right?

There’s not a single illiterate among them!

This counts as that bird’s feather of good news.

The celestial dog resides on Yin Mountain, it’s practically common knowledge.

Do we still need you, Ge Fei, to tell us?

Let’s not mention Ge Fei and Wu Ling, the dynamic duo dashing around Yin Mountain.

In the oceanic waters, there’s another pair of fleeing geniuses.

Jiang Lord and Young Lord Zuo first fled into the water under the threat of the fish, and then dived deep under the sea due to the impact of the yellow shell group.

Yet the ocean floor is boundless and perilous. Even though Zuo Guangshu possessed the river god’s divine skills, it was merely a Divine Power Seed, so he dared not dive too deep.

The records in “Mountain and Sea Strange Beasts” came to life, one by one.

Fish flew over, and the yellow shell group arrived.

The yellow shell group whistled past, followed immediately by a frenzy that overturned the entire sea!

Water peaks collided with the sky, and gigantic waves swept the air.

The sky, once beautifully adorned with clouds and mist for miles, was no longer.

Both sky and sea were shrouded in darkness.

Amidst this apocalyptic terrifying deluge, suddenly came the chant of the black dragon.

In this depiction of the painting of destruction, a black divine dragon suddenly leaped out.

This dragon had complete mustaches and tail, vivid and lifelike, pulling an exceedingly magnificent chariot, leaping across the giant waves!

This chariot was capped with jade lotus, tall and gorgeous, riding the rush, sweeping through the furious waves.

In the driver’s position, Zuo Guangshu donned water-colored battle armor, with a blue battle robe draping behind, and eyes that still carried youthful greenness but were now as vast as rivers.

He had manifested as the river god, taking charge of this aquatic territory in his strongest state, becoming godlike or demonic!

Jiang Wang, clad in the Ruyi Immortal Robe, stood by his side with his sword poised. His flowing sleeves were ready for action at any moment.

On the battlefield, typically with one chariot, the “driver” was central, responsible for long-range attacks termed “multi-shot” on the left, and close-range short weapon combat known as “Warrior Right,” stationed on the right.

Jiang Wang at this moment served the role of “Warrior Right,” though if necessary, he wouldn’t hesitate to unleash long-range Dao Technique bombardments.

The two brothers rode the river god’s divine chariot, taming the furious sea.

In the terrifying deluge brought by the Foreign Beasts fish, they bravely forged ahead.

Mountain-like waves crashed down, only to be deflected by the river god.

The furious sea rolled back, yet merely brushed gently against the river god’s divine chariot.

Of course, the black divine dragon that drew the chariot was merely a manifestation of the water element, not a True Dragon, but in such a furious sea environment, it seemed to possess the might of a Divine Dragon!

It’s unknown how long it lasted, but suddenly, the sight ahead cleared—

The sky adorned with clouds and mist for miles seemed very close, yet was incredibly distant, as if in floating mountains wrapped in clouds and fog, and the flat, mirror-like sea surface…

The sky cleared, and the sea vast, opening up brightly!

Looking back from atop the speeding river god war chariot, the storming gigantic waves that obscured the sky were already left far behind, though who knows when they might cease…

Ps:

1, “Strange Beasts Chronicles” is an original tome fabricated by the author to construct world authenticity, the book is its text. It’s akin to earlier mentions of “Kui Lun,” “Force Theory,” and various national history books, etc.

2, “Mountain and Sea Strange Beasts” essentially adopts “The Classic of Mountains and Seas,” only making some adjustments to better fit the Red Heart world. For example, the size and sharp teeth of the fish, and how the yellow shells survive by feeding on the fish’s leftovers… These details not found in the original book are supplemented by the author to increase realism. Yet, the original remains “The Classic of Mountains and Seas.”

Thanks to the imaginative prowess of our predecessors, leaving us such a colorful tapestry of legends.

It will not be detailed further, readers should be aware.

3, Fish: lou (third tone).
