Chapter 104 104: Chaos On The Field

Chapter 104 104: Chaos On The Field

With his fury unbroken, Raya surged toward the far right and claimed the ball again. Now standing at the far right side of the box, he moved his gaze up and forward. Between him and the waiting net stood a single obstacle… Kazutora Inzuka.

One barrier. One moment. Everything else faded.

With his full attention locked onto Raya, Kazutora exploded into a sprint at him. Acting purely on instinct, Raya tried to thread a pass to the left, but Kazutora in mid-run read it instantly and shifted his body in the same direction, forcing Raya to pull back and tries to switch the angle, but Kazutora mirrored him again mid-run, sliding into the exact lane once more. Raya's eyes widened in panic. There was no opening. No way through.

As the distance between them rapidly began to vanish, Raya let out a frustrated roar and burst forward from the far right in a desperate attempt to slip past Kazutora.

Kazutora's smirk grew as he shifted in his mid-run, pressing in from the side, sealing off every passing lane and strangling any freedom of movement.

Raya came to a quick stop as the field ended in front of him, eyes wide, while the storm name Kazutora was quickly closing in from behind.

"You're done!"

Kazutora yells out, reaching Raya's back and halting just long enough, waiting for Raya to make the slightest move, ready to intercept.

Raya clenched his fist and spun around in one sharp motion, his right foot sweeping through with his boot scraping hard against the grass, guiding the ball with him.

Kazutora answered with a smirk, and slid his right foot forward into the path of Raya's sweeping leg, blocking the angle all while keeping his stance tight to seal off Raya's other side.

With his face set with immense fury, Raya kept sweeping his foot backward, meeting Kazutora's incoming tackle head-on, daring the collision while Kazutora wasn't backing down either, keeping his smirk.

But then, just as the impact was inevitable and Raya's boot and the ball came sharply into view, Kazutora's eyes snapped wide in sheer disbelief.

Raya wasn't guiding the ball… The ball was balanced atop his sweeping boot. And just as Kazutora's tackle rushed in, about to collide, Raya raised his boot upward, narrowly avoiding the tackle.

Kazutora was left completely stunned, eyes wide in disbelief. And just before he could think any further, Raya let out a fierce roar and swung his sweep hard, sending the ball soaring in a high arc, from the far right edge of the field, curling toward the box of the nets.

The ball arced from the far right edge of the goal, soaring over the field. Every player, Jiho, Nagisa, Yohan, and even Kazutora, turned around was watching it float above everyone's heads, going at the empty space of left wing

And from the left wing, Haruma Kusaka came bursting forward, sprinting in a full blown rush. He launched himself ahead into the air, swinging his head back like a coiled spring. Then, with a brutal snap of his neck, his forehead slammed into the ball. The impact rattled the air and the ball rocketed off, smashing into the right side of the net with a thunderous crack.

'GOOOOOOOOALLL'

The stadium erupted once again. Kento and Ryusei leaped the highest, fists pumping the air. Masaru and Toru roar at the top of their lungs. Raon roars leapt onto Minato's side, who returned the roar with equal ferocity. The roars from every corner quickly shook the entire stadium.

Haruma crashed violently onto the grass, the impact jarring through his entire body, but he sprang up immediately, refusing to stay down, he began sprinting toward the celebrating crowd, raising his hand to his chest he performed the calma.

The stadium erupted even further. Fans screamed, waved, and roared, swept up in the chaos, making the air crackle with electricity, every eye locked on him.

The scoring sheet moved to 4-2.

And in that moment, Haruma's calma ignited the lost hopes of the fans, sending their energy and celebrations soaring even higher.

On the field, Jiho, Raya, Kabuto, Nagisa led the chase, followed by the rest of the team, all sprinting after Haruma. From the goalpost, Kurogami silently pumped a fist into the air, celebrating in his own quiet way.

On the opposite side, Kazutora was burning with rage, storming at his teammates, screaming at them in frustration.

Meanwhile, Haruma came to a stop, completed his calma, his face was set with unshakable belief in himself. And In an instant, Izaya, Jiho, Makoto, and the others leapt onto his back, roaring together, a surge of pure, raw adrenaline rippling across the field.

From the VIP box balcony, Ismau and the other seniors laughed and cheered, clapping loudly above their heads, caught up in pure thrill. From the opposite box, Shuya was on her feet, laughing and clapping as well, a confident, proud smirk lighting up her face.

With a wide smile, the commentator exclaimed, "Haruma Kusaka is stepping up once again! Two goals in quick succession… Can he pull off a miracle? Can he carry his team over the line?"

Haruma's mother was now on her feets, a warm smile playing on her face, clapping with calm and joyous rhythm, next to her Ayane was seated, a smile finally creeping across her face.

The second commentator, maintaining a smile, added.

"We don't know about the win or the loss, but that boy is definitely putting up a show for Tokyo. They are now just two goals away from equalizing and Haruma is just one goal away from matching the top scorer."

On the field, Haruma faced the crowd, a wide smirk spreading across his face while around him, his teammates were roaring, cheering, ruffling his hair in celebration, their energy spilling over and electrifying the stadium…

The clock had passed the 79th minute, with just 11 minutes left before stoppage time. The Tyrants were being overly cautious, passing the ball carefully among themselves, wasting every second they could. The crowd watched in tense silence, breaths held, every eye glued to the field, waiting for a break in the standoff.

A Tyrant controlled the ball before inching carefully backward to avoid any danger. But just as he sensed a presence behind, he immediately struck the ball, sending a pass soaring through the air, but before it could fly off properly, Izaya leapt into the air, throwing his body in its path, taking the impact on his back, disrupting the play entirely.

The Tyrants froze, eyes wide with panic. Only Kazutora stayed locked in fiercely, his teeth gritted.

The ball flew away from everyone's reach while Nagisa and a Tyrant raced toward it. Both leapt at the ball, but only Nagisa's head made contact, sending it soaring forward.

A Tyrant jumped to intercept with a header, but the ball slipped past him, landing perfectly at Haruma's feet.

The crowd leaned forward, breaths caught, eyes glued to the field. The commentators sat with clenched jaws, tension crackling in the air, while Kazutora's smirk burned with cold malice.

Haruma inhaled deeply before exploding into a rush toward the goal. The stadium exploded around him, the roar of the crowd shaking the stands as one, carrying him forward.

Desperate to stop Haruma, a few Tyrants sprinted after him at full speed, while Raya, Jiho, and Itsuki ran hard, covering ground, trying to match Haruma's relentless pace. While Haruma remained the center of attention, his legs a blur as the ball danced at his feet.

The fans went wild, roaring, pumping fists into the air, feeding the moment with pure, chaotic energy.

A Tyrant came flanking, stepping directly into Haruma's path causing him to slow in his sprint as he faced the obstacle head-on.

The Tyrant's eyes were locked on the ball, wide and intense, every muscle tensed. Haruma, staring at him, pushed forward, sliding the ball sharply to the right with his foot. The defender jerked his body to follow, only for Haruma to flick the ball back to the left in a blur.

The defender grinned, shifting back to the left, but before he could fully adjust, Haruma flicked the ball again, this time collecting it smoothly on the far left side and gliding past the Tyrant with fluid motion.

But before Haruma could even catch his breath, another Tyrant charged in with a sliding tackle. In response, Haruma spun effortlessly around him, the ball glued to his feet before clearing the challenge. No sooner had he pushed forward than another defender stepped in, blocking his path and bracing for the duel.

As Haruma and the defender faced off one-on-one, a storm of motion tore past them, the storm known as Kazutora. Who instead of tackling, raced past both Haruma and the defender.

The sudden move sent a ripple of shock through the fans and the Wolves alike, leaving everyone momentarily frozen.

"That bastard…" Raya muttered under his breath, his teeth clenched, sprinting hard while his eyes remained locked on the scene.

"That fucker's going for a one-on-one!" Jiho snapped, still sprinting hard.

"Damn it! I have to step up!" Itsuki growled, shifting his charge now directly towards Kazutora.

Now Raya, Jiho, and Itsuki, all three of them were pushing harder, desperately accelerating their speed, rushing headlong into the fray.

Still in full sprint, Kazutora's eyes burned with madness as he screamed at the top of his lungs.

"Come on, Kusakaaaaaa!"

He slammed on the brakes and spun back toward Haruma, only for his eyes to fly wide in shock.

Haruma had found the gap. The ball sat open at his feet while that defender had lost his balance, stumbling on the left side. From the right, Haruma swung his foot and struck the ball with violent precision.

The shot rose in a beautiful arc, gracefully sailing past Kazutora's frozen form.

The goalkeeper set himself and launched into a full dive, arms stretched to their limit, but the ball curved perfectly, slipping beyond his fingertips before slamming into the back of the net, then dropped and bounced gently inside.
