Chapter 955 Blood Pool
Chapter 955 Blood Pool
Jiang Jiyun saw the two of them go inside the wall, so she let go of their hands and landed on the ground.
Jiang Wenming let go of the door when he saw the brightly lit place. As soon as his feet touched the ground, he noticed that the door started to rotate again.
In the blink of an eye, the steel bar spun around in front of them and disappeared without a trace.
"Oh no!" Jiang Wenming exclaimed, "What are we going to do? Are we going to be trapped here and unable to get out?" His eyes were fixed on the door where he should have inserted his things, and a sense of panic welled up in his heart.
Jiang Jiyun also stared at the empty place, which was deathly silent all around, with not even a ghost in sight.
Suddenly, she heard her uncle's voice in her ear: "There's nothing here, so why is there a light? And are there holes in the walls? This is the first time I've ever seen such a thick door."
Jiang Jiyun did not answer her uncle's question immediately; her attention was completely drawn to her surroundings.
After a while, Jiang Wenming still didn't hear a response from his little niece, so he turned around and found that his little niece was like a puppy, lying on the crack in the wall, sniffing hard with her nose.
Jiang Jiyun's eyes lit up, and she quickly waved to her uncle, signaling him to come over.
Jiang Wenming quickly walked to the crack in the wall on the left and, imitating his little niece, put his nose close to the crack.
In an instant, a strong smell of blood hit his nostrils, causing him to frown.
"Uncle, can you smell it?" Jiang Jiyun looked up at her uncle, a hint of nervousness flashing in her eyes. "There's a bloody smell in here."
The uncle and nephew tried their best to push the door, but the wall remained unmoved.
Jiang Jiyun was so exhausted that she had to give up and sit down against the wall, panting heavily.
Jiang Wenming fared no better; he also collapsed onto the ground.
Suddenly, Jiang Wenming cried out in surprise, "Ouch... Ouch... Something poked my butt!"
He shouted as he quickly turned around, lay down on the ground, and rubbed the painful spot where he had been pricked.
Jiang Jiyun looked at her unlucky uncle in surprise, a sense of curiosity rising in her heart.
She stared wide-eyed at the spot where her uncle had sat, and cautiously reached out to touch it.
Sure enough, her hand immediately touched a bump that was almost the same color as the ground.
Jiang Jiyun frowned, wondering what was going on.
She continued to explore the protrusion, and suddenly, as if she had discovered a secret, her eyes lit up, and she pulled it up forcefully.
The moment she lifted it, a miracle happened!
The wall that they had been pushing against for ages suddenly rose up slowly and was opened with ease.
Jiang Wenming stared in astonishment at the wide-open door, inside which was brightly lit.
However, unlike the outside, this place was filled with a strong smell of blood.
Without a second thought, Jiang Wenming immediately got up from the ground, gripped the gun tightly in his hand, and squeezed through the door.
Seeing her uncle go inside, Jiang Jiyun rushed in the instant she let go, before the door closed, and then rolled in to successfully enter the room.
Jiang Jiyun got up from the ground and her gaze fell on her uncle, only to find him standing there like a statue, his eyes staring straight up at the sky.
Jiang Jiyun was puzzled and followed his uncle's gaze, instantly seeing a terrifying scene.
Above them were bodies hanging upside down in a huge pool, their heads facing down, blood dripping from their bodies and pooling into a dark red pool that rippled in the water.
The strong, stench emanated from the pool of blood, making Jiang Jiyun feel nauseous and almost vomit.
Jiang Jiyun quickly reached up and pulled the mask up over her chin.
"My god, this is terrifying!" Jiang Jiyun's voice trembled slightly.
She took a deep breath, suppressing her fear, and said to her uncle, "Uncle, it looks like we can go up from that side. Let's go see if there are any other exits..."
However, before he could finish speaking, Jiang Jiyun's gaze was suddenly drawn to two people on the other side of the pond.
There were two men dressed in white Japanese martial arts uniforms. They stood there expressionless, staring coldly at her and her uncle.
Jiang Wenming also noticed the two people, and his expression instantly turned serious.
The two men immediately attacked the moment they saw Jiang Wenming raise his gun.
Seeing them make their move, Jiang Jiyun hurriedly pushed her uncle away and rolled several times on the ground to dodge their attack.
When the two stood up again, Jiang Jiyun saw that a row of black nails had appeared where they had just stood, driven straight into the ground and flashing with blue light.
"Uncle, be careful, they've used poison!" Jiang Jiyun fired his gun at the other side.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Suddenly, gunshots rang out, and more and more Japanese soldiers appeared on the other side of the pool.
The uncle and nephew watched the enemy intently, seeing the Japanese soldiers quickly split into two groups, bypassing the pool of blood and encircling them.
"Da da da!"
"Da da da!"
A barrage of gunfire erupted, bullets raining down like a downpour.
The pistols in the hands of the uncle and nephew instantly transformed into heavy machine guns, and the fierce firepower scattered the Japanese soldiers opposite them, with a large number falling down in an instant.
However, just as Jiang Jiyun continued firing, she suddenly felt something was wrong.
Her eyelids felt unusually heavy and she could barely open them. She knew in her heart that this feeling was definitely not caused by fatigue or drowsiness.
"Uncle, something's not right here. I feel sleepy, I can't hold on much longer!" Jiang Jiyun forced herself to stay awake, biting her tongue hard. The sharp pain made her a little more awake, and she hurriedly called out to Jiang Wenming.
Hearing his niece's shouts, Jiang Wenming dragged his gun and moved with difficulty toward Jiang Jiyun's position.
When he approached Jiang Jiyun, he immediately noticed that something was wrong with her expression, and his worry intensified.
"Quickly, climb onto my back and then enter the space!" Jiang Wenming said anxiously. "This place is too eerie; someone might be plotting against you again!"
Jiang Jiyun's gaze was fixed on the Japanese soldiers opposite him, his heart filled with worry.
She saw that Jiang Wenming was facing so many Japanese soldiers all alone, and it must be very dangerous for him.
As she fired her gun, she shouted, "Uncle, you can't handle so many people by yourself! It's too dangerous, come in with me!"
Jiang Wenming gripped his gun tightly and kept shooting at the enemy.
His voice was firm and resolute: "No, I have to get you out of here! It's too dangerous here. If the Japanese detonate this place, we'll all be buried underneath and never get out! Go inside quickly, don't worry about me!"
